The Patriot League calendar lists softball for May 13–15, 2027, hosted by the No. 1 seed. The dates are known, but the city is not fixed by that announcement. Avoid assuming Boston will host again just because Boston University staged the 2026 event.

Boston University, Colgate, Army West Point and Lafayette qualified for the 2026 tournament. The event used double elimination at BU Softball Field. Lafayette's berth was its first since 2012, a reminder that the final qualifying position can be a meaningful part of the race, not just the title chase.
