The Summit League's championship calendar assigns the softball event to Omaha on May 12–15, 2027. Those are event dates, not confirmed daily matchups. Wait for the tournament bracket before deciding which session to attend, and do not substitute basketball championship information from the same league calendar.

The 2026 championship notebook identified St. Thomas as the No. 2 seed and noted its first Division I postseason eligibility. Omaha, North Dakota State, South Dakota, Kansas City and South Dakota State also featured in that bracket. These are historical qualifiers, not guaranteed 2027 entrants.
