The new Mountain West softball lineup

Eight teams in a single round robin

Grand Canyon, Hawai'i, Nevada, New Mexico, San José State, UC Davis, UNLV and UTEP make up the announced 2027 softball field. League play begins March 25, with three-game series against each of the other seven teams. This differs from the previous season's Mountain West lineup.

Mountain West championship in Phoenix

Check the final event schedule before booking

Grand Canyon is the announced 2027 host in Phoenix. The softball schedule release and New Mexico's announcement give May 12–15, while the conference's general championship calendar lists May 13–15. The host is clear, but confirm the final opening date with the championship page before making nonrefundable plans.

The conference identifies MW+ as its softball streaming destination, with web, mobile and connected-TV access. New Mexico also says its Mountain West games will be streamed there. Open the actual matchup to check access and start time; a road nonconference game should not be assumed to use the same service.
