Five Clearwater games before Big West play

The NFCA lists California Baptist against NC State Thursday, February 11 at 6 p.m. ET. Friday's games are Auburn at 4 p.m. and Wisconsin at 7 p.m. ET. The Lancers face Notre Dame Saturday at 10 a.m. and North Carolina at noon ET. All five are neutral-site games at Eddie C. Moore Complex, not Riverside home games.

A new league and a championship to qualify for

CBU begins its first Big West softball season after eight years in the WAC. The school says six transfers joined the roster after a 43-win 2026 campaign and the program's first Division I NCAA tournament berth. The 2027 Big West championship is scheduled May 12–15 in Long Beach; only six teams qualify, so that event is not yet a guaranteed Lancer game. Look for CBU's complete league and home dates when the school posts its full spring slate.
