Big 12 series dates and BYU weekends

Do not assume every series starts Friday

Big 12 teams face eight league opponents over nine weeks in 2027. The announced pattern is one game per day Friday–Sunday, with BYU series Thursday–Saturday; schools may agree to other arrangements. UCF's published schedule also illustrates why fans should check the actual series dates instead of relying on a standard weekend pattern.

2027 Big 12 softball tournament

Eight qualifiers at Devon Park

The top eight teams in the conference standings qualify for the May 13–15 tournament at Devon Park in Oklahoma City. Finishing inside that cutoff matters: membership in the league does not guarantee a tournament place. The venue also hosts the Women's College World Series, but these are separate events and tickets.

A released slate can still have TBA starts

The league release leaves game times to the member schools and says television assignments will follow later. UCF's announcement is organized by home and away series, making it useful for weekend planning. For a specific game, confirm the time and broadcast on the school's full schedule before first pitch.
